On the Photo
John Heartfield, the main character of the film, sneaks out of the Heartfield exhibition (Erfurt Kunsthalle). He was found a day later by Michael Tallai, CEO of Thüringen Mediagroup.
What I Loved to Do:
Johnny & Me is a stop-motion documentary about John Heartfield, a pioneer of photomontage and fighter against fascism. I wanted to play with visual elements from his posters and texts, especially since the film had copyrights to use most of the artwork to promote the film. I also had to be careful with demonstrating some of the symbols so as not to get banned from social platforms.
What Client Loved to Post:
This post was dedicated to the 8 weeks of screening the movie at the ACUD cinema in Berlin, which is really important for the whole team.
Did you know?
Even if the theater has an SMM person, they would be happy to just repost the finished story and good photos from the premiere.
If the production has sent you screening dates, check them out. It just so happens that people who show movies for a living don’t know the correct dates and times of screenings.
Some small independent theaters have really shitty websites that were made before I was born.
