Background Work
I was in charge of file management and automation, sounds boring but when all the team want to see and post photos and you have to AirDrop lots of good shots. My goal is to organize the best and fastest access even when you are out of good internet connection. I love using Dropbox camera sync and IFTTT automation to help me put everything in the right folder.
The Biggest Animation Festival: Annecy 2023
For our biggest and first festival in a row (so far), I propose to use a puppet of the main hero, John Heartfield, in one of the stop-motion poses. And yes, our actress had a make-up appointment and 2 of the puppet stylists helped not to lose the head of John Heartfield, take care of emotions and sweater.
Overall, people loved the puppet because you could interact with it more closely than with people. I bet it would be inappropriate to ask an actor to scratch your beard, but in our case it was possible.
My favorite events are when I drink wine and talk to people, but of course I also made some cool photos for Instagram and TikTok.
First German Premier in DOK-Leipzig 2023
The premiere in your own country is very important and I loved that John Heartfiel was on the cover of the invitations for all the festivals. Our Instagram account also gets a lot of reposts from the festival. During the award ceremony our team was in the main train station streaming. We already know that we didn’t win anything. But I made a video of Heartfield’s sad smile and the pigeons above the crowd. DOK-Leipzig’s awards are also in the form of pigeons, but our pigeons could fly.

I helped to make designs for the post concerning participation in other festivals.
